I used to think I would like a face lift, but decided that if it didn’t work I’d be sorry and my family love me wrinkles and all, and at 80 I don’t think it matters now, I’m happy in my skin. Vote in! Thank you for the references and those finalists in the photos, gosh so hard to choose, some absolutely stunning shots.

Lovely writing, Maggie... thank you. Your contemplation on women aging and how we are our own worst critics when we might see our "lined faces" as a privilege, is not just potent. It is also topical, as I see some famous women are challenging the trend and pressure to try to deny their aging and are choosing to embrace it instead.

Acts of courage in the world of celebrity and social media pile-ons.

Julia Roberts is one... you may have seen her comments including that she is "aging with dignity and calm" and is "blessed" and appreciates all that she has.
